Weeds normally do not poke through the backing of your synthetic turf, but sometimes seeds can germinate inside the sand or rubber infill that lay on the top of synthetic grass. If this happens, they can easily be removed by spraying or pulling them just as you would in a normal grass lawn.
If you have a synthetic lawn that doesn’t have treated antimicrobial fibres, you may want to consider using a turf deodoriser if you own a pet to eliminate any potential odours from urine-soaked infill.
Sharp furniture can damage the tufted material of synthetic grass. Make sure you furniture doesn’t have any sharp edges that could pull or tear your newly installed synthetic turf.
